This was the first stop on our family vaca to South Dakota. I had no idea what to expect when we started the tour. I will admit I was a little disappointed when I first entered the gardens, but I quickly realized this was exactly the type of little off-the-wall attraction that an out west family road trip needs. It is pretty much as fun as you want to make it. We really enjoyed picking a chunk of rose quartz from their rock pile for a souvenir. They sell all kinds of local rocks and minerals for $3 per pound. The gift shop was huge and really nice. Definitely stop here! Just don't expect Disney land for $20.....

Amazing stop, do it! I wished I could have stayed longer but I had to keep moving. So glad I stopped and I could have bought way more. Totally worth the little bit of money they ask for the tour. Something for everyone! Thank you.

Took my daughter here, she enjoyed the exhibits, even though it was 90+ degrees outside. Some new fun facts learned and good prices at the gift shop. Family who owns this was enjoyable to chat with. If you like minerals, this place ROCKS!;)

Awesome little family ran attraction. Pulled in to appease one kid and really enjoyed it. Will stop in future if looking for rocks buy here before you get to hills much cheaper.

A fun roadside attraction perfect for your trip out west. We enjoyed buying some rose quartz for $3/lb.
