Soul Food is a pleasant surprise in the middle of nowhere. I always eat the "Generosity" (Cuban) sandwich at the cafe when I stop my truck here about every other month. It's my favorite sandwich! Includes chips and dill pickle. Price is more than fair at $8 considering that those cheap processed subs at travel centers alone go for $5 or more.... Lots of truck parking.
To Coffee Lovers - I ordered a 16oz Vanilla Latte for $3.50 ($4.09 I believe after taxes). It was just perfect for Me! It was topped with nice-thick foam and the coffee was strong. After I gobbled down the top layer of yummy foam, I asked the nice lady for a little bit of Whip Cream - it was so good. I would had taken a picture if I had some left lol. Coffee lady was really nice and fast. Will be back during me vacation to supply my Coffee Addiction.
Great stop! Best diesel price in the area, plenty of parking, great cafe (best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time) and really friendly staff! A new favorite for me!
